Final Project The final project is worth 120 points. Design and develop a REST-based or WebSocket-based Communication API IoT architecture based on the concepts developed in this course. Create an IoT Level-2 or Level-3 architecture using either the Cloud or a local server. Use the Raspberry PI as the device. Use either the Cloud or a separate computer as the services database controller. Demonstrate an ability to exchange information between the IoT device (Raspberry PI) and the database controller. Demonstrate an ability to configure the IoT device remotely from the database controller. You have your choice of five options: · Weather Monitoring System with email notification including temperature, humidity and barometer sensors · Smart Lighting System with email notification when conditions change including wireless functionality and dynamic luminary adjustment · Air Pollution Monitoring with periodic email notification of readings including air quality sensor for multiple gases, including CO and CO2. · Camera based intrusion detection system with email notification including webcam and PIR sensor. · Other instructor approved system You can either obtain the required sensors or write a short program that emulates the sensor data on the device platform. Present and Demonstrate your IoT system via a Zoom or YouTube recording. Deliverables: 1. Ten to twelve view cells describing your project and illustrating how your IoT system works and meets all of the required criteria. (30 points) 2. Twenty-five to Thirty page document that describes the development process and build of your project. Include functional block diagram showing the information flow and screen shots as appropriate. Provide your developed code in an appendix. The code does not count toward your total pages (60 points). 3. Demonstrate the functionality of your IoT device by providing a 10 to 12 minute video presentation. (30 points) Paper Outline: Cover Page Abstract Introduction/Overview Design Process Development Process Testing and Results Summary and Conclusions https://networklessons.com/cisco/ccna-routing-switching-icnd2-200-105/introduction-to-sdn-opendaylight IFT 598 – Managing Intelligent Devices IFT598 – Managing Intelligent Devices Rubric The paper is worth 60 points.
