For the report:

the “thrower” tossed the ball up and at an angle (as if playing catch) using the graph

a). Analyze the position data using the correct model/s

b). Find appropriate slopes/coefficients and interpret them in terms of the equations of motion (what do they represent?)

c). Do these values make sense in terms of the physics of the experiment? Discuss.

d). Use the data to obtain a third experimental value of the acceleration due to gravity, g.

e). Use your models to find the initial x- and y-velocities

f). Calculate and report the angle above the horizontal that the ball was thrown.

13. Think of a way you might check this angle against your video. Discuss, but you do not need to do this

14. Use the models you obtained to calculate the distance the ball should land from the the thrower (xf) and compare to your measured value.

15. Discuss any discrepancies, sources of error, etc. How good was the “theoretical prediction”? (how well did the calculation match the reality?)
