For this paper, I'd like you to focus on one scene specifically, after you watch an Academy Award nominated film or streaming play. Write about the character's goal or objective in the scene and how it relates to the character's goal or objective in the whole story. What or who are the obstacles that stand in the way of the character meeting their goal. Also, discuss the various actions that the actor/character does in order to try to meet their objective. Finally, how successful was the actor'sperformance, in your opinion, and why.
