Description
That application mainly has to goals which have to provide students and staff members outdoor and indoor location with the help of localization system and provide instructions to them to reach a certain location to stop this application will be able to provide precise location add different environments by using the localization system and it will display the location of user on the map to stop hey if there is no localization system then the application will use another system to find out the location of user . The user will be able to navigate using the map at the same time along with obtaining the path instructions
Outdoor Localization
The system will use GPS to find out the location of hillside for the outdoor localization system install it will be able to show a list of locations hey and it will provide instructions hey for the user to drive to stop the user will have option to select location which is present on the list or on the map. it will also show the location name, distance as per current location and the selected location on the map. The user can access the path instruction for any precise location. The application will draw a path on the map along with the driving instructions to stop the user will have the option to continue as per the navigate section and explore the map once the location is chosen. If the user wants to search for a location which is present in a building, then the outdoor system will be able to launch indoor system to guide the user.
Indoor Localization
When the user is indoor application will show a map of the building and also list of all the specific locations in the building. When the user selects any location inside the building that it will show path. the application does not have option of GPS in indoor environment hence it uses Wi-Fi, camera, QR codes or accelerometer to find out the location of user and show it on map (Bruno, R., & Delmastro, F).
Motivation
Some major motivation to start this project was due to the lack of GPS range and accuracy which we need in indoors. The GPS takes a lot of time to penetrate between the ceiling of buildings and multiple floors or reflective materials in stock it is very important to have a system which works accurately and does not need any sector to locate any specific area present in any building.
