B) What does the symbol of the zombie (or the undead) represent in the poem? (In other words, what does it mean, in the space of the poem, to be a zombie?) Please format your .doc or .docx (or, if those formats are not possible, .pdf) response to your question according to the MLA style. Task 2: A symbol is a “an object, action, or event that represents something, or creates a range of associations, beyond itself” (Hamilton 93). Pick one of the following figures and explain one crucial aspect of how this figure is symbolized in our contemporary culture: vampires, zombies, goblins, ghosts, witches, werewolves, mutants, freaks. Don't forget to provide a cultural example--such as a movie, or book, or comic, or something--to help readers understand your ideas.
