Curriculum Mode: Presentation Students will be notified via email as to what presentation group they will be assigned to. This notification will happen in the first week of the Autumn 2021 semester. Each presentation group will be assigned a weekly theme by the unit coordinator, the weekly themes are outlined below. The presentations are due at the assigned week as designated by the unit coordinator during the first week of the semester. Consequently, there will be varying due dates depending on the assigned presentation date. Regarding the presentation, each individual student will be expected to construct a 500-word presentation in Powerpoint that they will submit through Turnitin. Each 500-word presentation is to be constructed across approximately 5-15 Powerpoint slides and referenced appropriately (no introduction or conclusion is required). A reference list is required in accordance with the WSU Harvard referencing system. The presentation schedules will be announced in class. Late penalty: If the presentation is submitted (without an approved extension) after the slotted due date and time, it will attract a late penalty of 10% per day (including weekends) up to a maximum of 10 days, at which time a late penalty will be 100% of what the assignment is worth. Key definitions of terrorism may include; the use of violence to frighten the people to achieve a political goal or the unlawful use of threat or violence especially against the state of the public as a politically motivated means of attacks or violent and intimidating gang activity in any particular area. However terrorism is not legally defined in all jurisdictions; but generally it shares some common elements which are use of threat and violence to create fear, not just within the direct vi
ctims but among a wide audience. Terrorism may be classified into three categories:
International Terrorism - International terrorism refers to terrorism that goes beyond national boundaries in terms of the methods used, the people that are targeted or the places from which the terrorists operate.
Domestic terrorism - terrorists acts in the perpetrator's own country against their fellow citizens.
Transnational terrorism - Transnational terrorism involves actions in which victims, perpetrators, and sites of violence represent different states and nationalities.

Migration of people of terrorism-affected countries is a global issue now. People want to move form terrorism-affected countries to safer place. Terrorism affected may see decrease in the foreign direct investment. It may also prove harmful for the tourism department. Social demerit is also big issue due to terrorism.
