The company selected is GM – General Motors Company which being 112 Years old which shows that the company is been in this business for so long and being manufacturing the cars with various technology and the techniques.

The company is known for the most wide-spread lean manufacturing initiatives which are being in connection with the New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. (NUMMI). It is an implementation which is done under the with the collaboration with the Japanese company (Anwar, Alam, & Gleason, 2019). The company is known for its contribution in connection with the progressive Assembly, followed by Inter change parts, change in engine production and model to the robotic change in the car model.
