Hello. I have an assignment about creating an innovation using Possibility Thinking that I was wondering an expert would do. My innovation for this Assignment is about microsoft teams software, and basically you are going to need to research and pretend that you are the one that is coming up with this innovation. Please complete the worksheet attached to this message. Here are the instructions for this assignment:
Research a COMPUTING INNOVATION. (EX. Self driving cars)
Analyize the COMPUTING INNOVATION.
While researching this innovation, think like the innovator.
Complete the worksheet, complete all the tasks.
Included in this work sheet are the questions, How did this idea come about? What if? How About?, Wouldn't it be great if?
Exploring Computing Innovations using Possibility Thinking While deciding the Computer Innovation that you would like to research, the most important thing to remember is that you are researching an Innovation THAT ALREADY EXISTS. This is a research project; you are neither required nor asked to create a new technology or describe how you would create a new technology. You are simply researching the Purpose or Functionality of a pre-existing Computing Innovation that interests you, how that Innovation relates to the Economy, Culture, or Society, and the data concerns that are created through the use of the chosen Innovation. This guide is designed to help guide you through the process as you choose a topic, conduct research, create your Computational Artifact, and complete your written responses. This document is divided into three major sections: Planning and Research, Computational Artifact, and Written Responses. You fill out the worksheet, then write a paper using all the information. Credit giving for turning in the worksheet and the paper. Key Terms Computing Innovation: A Computing Innovation is an innovation that includes a computer or program code as an integral part of its functionality. This is what you are researching. Computational Artifact:A Computational Artifact is something created by a human using a computer and can be, but is not limited to, a program, an image, an audio, a video, a presentation, or a Web page file. The Computational Artifact could solve a problem, show creative expression, or provide a viewer with new insight or knowledge. This is what you are creating to demonstrate your knowledge of the Innovation Planning and Research Step 1: Computing Innovation: Step 2: Describe the Purpose or Function of your Innovation: Use these sentence Starters in order to help direct your answers. · “My computing innovation is…” · “The purpose of (name innovation) is to…” · “(Name Innovation) achieves its intended purpose by…” Step 3: Find, Read and Summarize 3 articles on your topic. Two must be written AFTER June 1, 2017. Source # Author Summery 1 2 3 Task 4: State ONE fact about your Identified Computing Innovation: Response Citation # Task 5: How does your Computational artifact convey the Purpose or Function of your Computing Innovation Task 5: State one BENEFICIAL EFFECT about your innovation: Response Citation # “One beneficial effect of (insert innovation name) is...” Task 6: State one HARMFUL EFFECT about your innovation: Response Citation # “One harmful effect of (insert innovation name) is…” Task 7: Describe how one of the IDENTIFIED Effects relates to either Economy, Society, OR Culture: Response Citation # “This (beneficial/harmful) effect relates to the (economy/society/culture) because…” Task 8: Identify the form of DATA that your Computing Innovation uses, AND how your innovation CONSUMES (as input), PRODUCES (as output), or TRANSFORMS that data: Response Citation # “This innovation relies of (insert data type here), which it (inputs/outputs/transforms) by…” Note: Data transmission; such as cellular data, servers, etc; ARE NOT CONSIDERED “DATA” for the purposes of prompt 2d. ELECTRICITY is also NOT considered data or a form of “consuming” or “transforming.” Task 9: Identify a Data Storage, Data Privacy, or Data Security Concern related to your Innovation. Response Citation # “One data (privacy/storage/security) concern created by the use of this innovation is…” Task 10: Create a Computational Artifact: This is the evidence of your project. Create to document or video show what you researched. Computational Artifact Format Choose one of the formats below based on your current computing abilities PDF’s must not exceed 3 pages. Video or Audio Files must be less than 1 min in length and not exceed 30 MB in size. 1 minute long Video Recording (.mp4, .mov, .wmv, .avi) Digital Image - graphic (.pdf.) Computer Program (.mp4, .mov, .wmv, .avi, .pdf) Web Page (.pdf, .mp4, .mov, .wmv, .avi) 1 Minute long Screen captured Presentation (.mp4, .mov, .wmv, .avi) Task 11: Using Possibility thinking, think like you are/were the inventor of this computing innovation. Come up with a “What if” question that would have been said in order to get to this innovation? Task 12: Come up with a “How About” question that would have been said in order to get to this innovation? Task 13: Come up with a “Wouldn’t it be great if…” question that would have been said in order to get to this innovation? Task 14: Create a bibliography in MLA Format of at least 3 sources that you used to complete your Written Responses. 1) 2) 3)
