Hello, i have an essay due the 24 th november morning. It is about two books that we read in class. I dont know if you can make this assignemnt since you did not read it but i can try to help if any questions and i have book notes that i attached
Students will write 1 paper (approx. 6 – 7 pages) responding to the assigned reading and other class materials. The papers will be graded on (1) how thoroughly you relate to ALL of the assigned reading material and (2) the depth of your own thinking in response to the prompt question. All papers must be handed in before class starts on Nov. 24.
Prompt: Inequality is a major theme in both of the books we have read. Please explain why inequality is important to understanding healthcare policies. Then, give SIX examples of ways in which inequality is manifested in the two case studies we have read (that is, the two books.)
Grading rubric:
Introductory paragraph explaining how inequalities are relevant to understanding healthcare policies. 2 points
Six examples, each worth 3 points.
*Do not repeat examples. For instance, if you use a chapter from Uninsured in America to answer one question, do not use it to answer a second question.
*You may use the websites, class notes and class assignments to flesh out your examples. Do not do any additional research. This is NOT a research paper. Think of it more like a mid-term exam.
*I am looking to see you do more than simply summarize a chapter in a book. A brief summary is fine, but I want to see you focus on the actual inequality and the actual healthcare policies.
*You can choose how you want to set up the examples. One possibility: Identify six types or aspects of inequality and then bring an example from the reading for each. Another possibility: Choose a chapter or a story or incident and then discuss the types and implications of inequality in the chapter or story.
