Introduction
In the organization’s there ar
e several aspects that is related to the success and failure of the organisation. Several factors constitute to define how the work are being carried in an organization and how it is channelized proficiently. In this paper some of the most prominent aspects including coaching, managing conflict, team building and creating a compelling vision. The leadership is one of the most important prospects in an organization and all these factors are directly or indirectly related to the leadership that is practiced within the organization. In the paper it is discussed how these factors are related to the success and failure of the organization.
Coaching
Remembering one of the situations from my past where I was coached by one of the leaders of my company. 2 years back I joined an organization I was a complete fresher having no experience and idea how to maintain the professional relationship how to follow the work ethics and how to perform better. With every failure my confidence was getting lower and I was losing faith in myself. My morale was getting lower than my team leader made me understand that how the work could be performed how I would be the one who should possess the confidence in my work without doubting my skill. He has given me assistance throughout both in the terms of the professional development and the skill development, his coaching helped me in enhancing my performance and I started restoring faith in myself (DiGirolamo & Tkach, 2019).
The practical advice I would be giving to myself regarding the importance of leadership coaching is the leadership coaching is very important both in the context of being a leader or following a leader. As if a person is leader, he can only be effective if he is a good coach also and in case of the follower getting a leader who also acts as a coach is a bonus. For the people with whom I work on regular basis I would like to suggest that being a coach is very important in order to enhance the performance of the employees as well as self.
