    For this reflective activity, I went to a forest. The natural beauty of the forest and the cultural legacy of the Aboriginal people, drew my attention immediately. The rich biodiversity of the forest and its ecology including the water, the sky, the animals, the birds, and the flora of the place forced to immerse physically and emotionally into the beauty of the mother nature. I immediately though of the physical and emotional connection the Aboriginal people had with this land in the pre-colonisation era. As mentioned in the work of Fa et al. (2020), elements of the forest such as the birds, the animals, the sky, and the soil have a deep connection with the natives. The trees, which were still standing tall for years seem to whisper the stories of the Aboriginal people pre-colonisation. Learning further, the forest served as a place of shelter, and has a spiritual significance for the Aboriginals, which they have been cherishing for years.
