Reflection on Leadership evolution
Everyone has an individual and peculiar impression of what a lea
der is. However, this impression can change with the way they experience what leaders are. Earlier on, during the industrial revolution, the general impression regarding a leader was that of a “boss”. A boss is someone who orders his employees around and doesn’t consider them capable or valuable. He only sees them as machines who can contribute to growing his wealth and income. A leader, on the other hand is someone who influences his employees to doing their best and contributes to the development of the entire organization, including employees growing together. This is my first impression and understanding regarding what the video was about.
