The Second Chance Act (SCA) was most preferably initiated to reauthorize the grant program for reentry of offenders into the community in the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, to improve reentry planning and implementation and for other purposes. The Second Chance Act affects the reentry as the act was initiated to support state, local and tribal government and nonprofit organizations in their prime work to reduce the recidivism and improve the outcome for the people, who are returning from the State and the Federal Prisons, Local Jails or from the Juvenile Facilities (Calleja, Dadah, Fisher & Fernandez, 2016).
