Introduction
This as
signment deals with the various kinds of rules and regulations and also some strategies that the company or the organisation follows to operate smoothly in the marketplace. It is basically an elaborate discussion on how an organisation runs and operates smoothly with the proper implication of the strategies, theories and leadership skills. In this assignment, it has been discussed about the fact that the organisation or business firms face various kinds of challenges and hurdles in the successful running of the companies. Here, we can have an idea of two kinds of problems commonly faced by the organisation. One problem is strategic planning and other one is innovation challenges.
Background of Hotel Canberra
Hotel Canberra is one of the most popular hotels in Australia. It is situated in the capital of the country. The Hotel Canberra is also, popularly known as Hyatt Hotel Canberra. It is a major hotel in the Australian national capital, Canberra. This hotel was founded in between 1922 to 1925. Until 1950, the hotel was authorised by the government and later on, the lease of the hotel was handed over to “Hotel Canberra Pvt Ltd” (O’Kane, Richardson, D’Almeida & Wei, 2019). In between its worst times, the hotel was shut down. Later on, in 1982 it was again opened and restored to its previous glory.

The Hotel Canberra, also known as Hyatt Hotel of Canberra has been working on a very good terms in the economy since a large period of time. The Hyatt Group of Hotels has their wide range of business spread all over the world. It has very strong hold on the economic grounds of Australia. However, since every company has to face some challenges in the economy that hampers the economy, the Hyatt group of hotels also has to face some problems. One of those problems is effective leadership. According to Szabo and Ori (2017), the hotel management do not follow the transformational strategies of leadership.
There are wide gaps in the operations of the leaders and the operations of the workers. There is lack of proper coordination within the employees and the employers. The second big issue that has been facing the company is the problem of communication. It is hospitality-based industries so it is very much needed for the management to keep constant and distinct methods of communication between the authority and its customers.
Impacts
Every company requires specific and impactful strategic methods that fuel the smooth running of the company. According to Hellmich and Feeney (2018), to sustain the dynamics of the market place, it is very important, especially for the big companies to chalk a very strict set of strategies. The Hyatt Group of Hotels faces the problem of effective leadership. Their management do not follow the proper theories of leadership that is making the employees very much badly affected. The employees are not getting motivation in proper way, which is also affecting their total turnovers or outputs. The whole work process is being slowed down due to inefficient leadership.
The second issue of communication is also affecting the business of the company since the company is losing its customers due to this poor communication. In a hospitality management, it is very much important to have a distinct kind of communication with its customers. Failure of such will lead the company to lose.
