1. Why is it important for a good social worker to understand the ways in which different families interact amongst themselves? A social worker works for the welfare of the society and a society consists of many different people and hence to make things better for a society or a family the worker should first have a knowledge on how the family communicate so when there is a problem caused, they can be a bridge between the members. To connect this question to the chapter. Ask: Does this chapter provide the ultimate guide to understanding different types of families? Why or why not? This chapter do provide the ultimate guide to understanding different types of families the reason being the clarity we have in these chapters, topic by topic.
