Introduction
It is perceived that every child is born with the ability t
o learn through observation and later on, by grooming the skills through active physical activities. In fact, a close examination of the overall activities of the childhood justifies the need of having integrated learning framework at early childhood period. Australia, like all other developed nations, believes in this principle of learning and by implementing the learning framework in the curriculum pertaining to mental health and wellness, it provides opportunities that are the national norms of alleviating the mental wellbeing of children, their growth in the early childhood period as well as their active engagement in the physical activities at this early age. In fact, this is more like the framework which covers all associated needs and expectations that the young children require from the early childhood setting. The division of various early developmental phases of learning as well as designing the policies exactly in the same direction is something that proves this process worthy of appreciation.
An Overview of the Framework
At first, it is significant to note here that the framework works on the theory of self development and positive interventions which are especially structured around the cognitive learning skills of children in the early childhood setting. The framework functions over the theory that children differ from each other in terms of possessing skills of learning. Therefore; they should be placed in the learning conditions where they can hone their abilities through active engagement in the activities of their choice. In other words, the mental and physical development of children depends greatly upon the fact how they are attended in the early childhood educational setting. The framework has four major divisions accordingly; the early childhood phase, the late childhood phase, the early teen phase and the late teen phase. It is believed that in these four phases, entire growth of the mental wellbeing is done and processed. In other words, with a view to enable child to become sensible and responsible adult, it is necessary that the process of evolution is well take care of.
Additionally, in the early and late childhood period, the emphasis is given over the development of the self learning skills. The framework accepts a wide range of physical activities which are necessary for a child to develop his sensory motor skills as well as he or she learns about active social participation. These activities are not limited to the classroom experience merely but rather, they expand the learning criteria from classroom to the field activities. In the same way, in early and late teen phase, the framework has designed some of the advanced level activities to learn about coordination, skills related to develop leadership styles as well as they are related to give stamina at work i.e. the intense physical activities...
