I am given a task where the app will allow the user to choose, according to their preference, between miles or kilometers.
The default being kilometers.
The user must be able to select their distance measurement unit(Kms / Miles)
All the distance measurement units throughout the app must adjust to the preference.
This preference must be saved and carried throughout the sessions
Since we are using Gitlab, please work on the branch created for this task called, 'distanceMeasurementUnits'.
Also, since I am a beginner to coding and android, it will be much appreciated if the code is kept as simple as possible along with comments in the code.
I have attached a pdf of some ideas for this task which can be implemented
Finally, it would be nice if a word document is done of all the changes/steps taken for this task, just so I understand what took place which will also help when committing to GitLab.
