Human Resource Management in a Global Economy

Human Resource Management in a Global Economy
Introduction
Aus-star is an Australian company and operates its three subsidiaries in Vietnam, Singapore and China. Aus-star sells its products in 50 countries all around the world. In Vietnam and China, Aus-star manufacturers parts of the aircraft which are further sold to other countries. In Australia and Singapore, the
parts of the aircraft are assembled. The cultures of Aus-star within the organisations are not strong such that the employees are unable to work by maintaining a proper culture. The subsidiaries of the company and along with the headquarters have to face the lack of communication within the employees. Even the integration of the organisation is less and lacks in the integration among the teams and management. The line managers are responsible for this condition within Aus-star. The diversity management of Aus-star is not well established as the senior staff are not allowing the disabilities candidates of China to get recruitment (Meyer & Xin, 2018). Even the authority of the organisation is ignoring the job applications which are dropped by the candidates in search of jobs. Many of the discrimination is being occurred in Aus-star. Even the human resources are not being implemented properly within the organisation which are increasing the challenge for the organisation to develop their business and increase their productivity.
Aus-star does not involve their policies under international business management. Even the products are sold at a higher cost which is unaffordable by the population. Aus-star has to invest a larger amount of money to make the production of their commodities. The HR training is being provided to the employees of Aus-star but it is to consider that the trainers are providing same subject training. It seems that all the employees are having the same subject requirements. All these factors are causing drawbacks for the company (Phillips, 2017). The thesis statement is all about the topic related to international business management, diversity management, human resources, cultural factors and the training and development of the employees of Aus-star. The discussion will help the organisation to read out their pathways by which they will be able to overcome their business challenges. The study will outline the prospects of better strategy management that needs to be allocated within Aus-star. The subtopics of the assessment will be based on Culture, Diversity management, International performance management and Training and Development. All the subtopics are being discussed below.

Culture
The cultural challenges are the most challenges faced by Aus-star while their employees are manufacturing the parts of aircraft. In Australia and Singapore, the employees are making the assembly of the parts to execute a working aircraft. The stakeholders are sending the warning letters to the higher authority of Aus-star because they have to face the deterioration in the manufacturing of the parts. The teams are not well-formed such that the employees are not having a particular skill to develop the parts. Aus-star served for numerous teams but there is no integration in between them. It results in the drawback that the employees are not getting the chance to explore their ideas within the team at the time of execution (Tempest & Coupland, 2017). Being an Australian company, they are promoting and enhancing their business all over the world. It can also be known that they are also acquiring multicultural employees. So it can be discussed that when the organisations are acquiring for different employees of different cultures then it is required to manage to build strong communication among the employees.
The HR of the organisation needs to settle for several training sessions where the employees can communicate with themselves. Even the HR of Aus-star should keep in mind that the employees should not have any conflicts within themselves which will help them to execute the business objectives successfully. Likely when the employees will get the chance to explore their ideas with other employees then it will help the organisation to make more innovation. It will help the company to fulfil the needs of the stakeholders. It will also decrease the conflicts among the employees. Many cultural programs are in need to be settled by which the employees can get the chance to know about other employees and can form a friendship among themselves (Cooke, 2018). All these critiques are being done by the HR team of the organisation. If the employees can understand the emotion and language of each other then it will provide a chance for the employees to...
