Please choose an Irish company from the food sector and examine the company when addressing the questions.
You will find the company list below.
As you know, many of these businesses are offline companies that have developed an online presence during Covid19 pandemic. E-commerce and digital marketing work together to help a company survive and thrive in the marketplace. They are complementary processes. Digital marketing brings attention to your brand. E-commerce allows you to actually sell.
This task you to produce a research on which you will achieve the following:
· How does the Internet impact the consumer decision making process?
· Discuss the impact of Digital Marketing on the company’s marketing strategies
· How can Artificial Intelligence models increase a company’s sales, profit and customer loyalty, to address customers’ needs and desires and demands?
Structure of the Assignment
Please note: Theory should be applied to demonstrate understanding. Simply explaining theory is not sufficient.
Introduction: (15 %) Each section carrying equal marks
· Highlight the importance of the subject.
· The definition of the topic being discussed.
· The reason why you are writing on this topic.
· An overview of your approach on the topic.
· Highlight the points that you want to discuss in the assignment.
· Explain a little about the company chosen

Findings and Analysis: (60 %) Each section carrying equal marks
· How does the Internet impact the consumer decision making process?

Discussion and Conclusion: (15%) Each section carrying equal marks

Referencing (5%)
· This should be completed following the collage guidelines.
· Peer reviewed academic papers. I would expect this paper to cite at minimum 8 in number
· Independent referencing is required 5 in number.
· Quotations in italics (to enhance existing work) – not part of the word count.
This paper should be realistic, well researched and actionable. There should be evidence of primary research (contact the company, interview them!) It is expected that the report will be of a professional standard and concur with current college quality regulations.
Additional Information
1. The word limit for the assignment is referenced above. This excludes references, footnotes and endnotes.
2. The assignment must be typed. One and a half/double spacing must be used with a font size of 11/12. While the font type is up to the student, the more appropriate font types are Calibri, Times New Roman, Arial or Garamond.
3. The work must be submitted on Moodle to the correct Turnitin link on the relevant module page. Students are required to retain an additional copy for themselves until the end of the academic year.
4. It is recommended that students save their work as a PDF and email it to themselves prior to the required submission day/time as an archive of their work.
5. Students should consult the Student Handbook for a guide on academic referencing. Plagiarism and/or other forms of academic impropriety will incur disciplinary proceedings.
6. Late submissions will be penalised by 5 marks of the awarded mark per calendar day. This is subject to a maximum of 5 calendar days, after which time work cannot be accepted without proof of extenuating circumstances. Refer to the Extenuating Circumstances Policy in relation to what are/are not extenuating circumstances.
7. Work must be presented properly: ensure that you spell-check and proof-read your work before submission.
