The
reference model which is responsible to define the network communication of any application is called OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model. The conceptual framework of this reference model provides a complete understanding regarding all the relationships. The main purpose of this model is to provide directions to developers and related venders of the different products (mainly of digital communication) regarding interoperates creation and facilitates to make proper comparison between all used tools of communication. It is very old model of network communication and rarely be used in actual implementation. The use of different layers and control over each other makes it a complete suite for practical implementation [Alani, 2014]. The layers of this model with their corresponding uses are provided below:
1) Application layer: This layer makes identification of communication partners, capacity of network, and services which makes direct communication to applications.
2) Presentation layer: This layer makes conversion of incoming as well as outgoing data bits in to any other format of presentation.
3) Session layer: This layer provides coordination for starting and terminating any conversation through sequence of different networking events.
4) Transport layer: This layer creates different data packets with required delivery and error correction to used network connection.
5) Network layer: The routing, IP address handling, and handling of virtual tables are main tasks of this layer.
6) Data Link layer: This layer is used for placing the data packets in network frames and providing implementation of related MAC addresses.
7) Physical layer: To convey of network bit stream by using electrical or radio level.
The communication suite which defines the packet braking, address allocation, data transition and data routing to destination node with four layer architecture is known as TCP/IP suite [Vasiliadis et al, 2017]. For making reliable network, a central management is required in this protocol suite. The different layers of this protocol are explained here:
1. Application layer: This layer makes identification of communication partners, capacity of network, and services which makes direct communication to applications. This layer...
