You are required to introduce Tassal Group followed by a detailed external and internal analysis by applying PESTLE and VRIN frameworks. The template for this individual analysis will be shared in week 2. Assessment Instructions Individually, you are required to research the Tassal Group and address the following assessment criteria. A. Introduction to Tassal Group This section should include an introduction to Tassal Group. Tassal group is the Tasmanian based salmon farming company in Australia, which has started their operation in 1986. The company is one of the largest producers of the Tasmanian grown Atlantic salmon, which supplies their salmon to both domestic and the international market (Tassal, 2020). The company being the leading seafood producer and largest in Atlantic salmon, they have a clear focus on the quality and the sustainability of their products which will create a global pioneer and leader in this business. The company’s diverse footprint across the Tasmania makes the integral contributor to the regional communities and that is the vision of the company to share this vision and mission with all of their stakeholders. Food is one of the most critical needs for the future generations to come; hence, it needs to be extremely sustainable and eatable. Salmon is one such food, which has a low carbon profile and is considered as super food.
