One of the major differences between their theoretical frameworks is to emphasise the individual versus collective approach of growth. When leadership is given in one hand (such as the nations dominated by communism as ruling force), the power remains centralised in one hand, which ultimately becomes the source of growth (Kangas et al. 2017).
However, in the democratic setup across globe, collective approach is more acceptable that individual one. In one of the other major difference to define the attributes of the nations, Hofstede perceives that male dominance is productive than female one, however, in practical context, it is inapplicable (Al-Sada, Al-Esmael & Faisal, 2017). Additionally, the nations such as Sweden or Denmark are more feministic in their approach to define their culture.
Nevertheless, these nations do not stand as weak in front of the nations such as Japan and India that have masculine societies promoted at work. In spite of promoting female participation in national work culture, nations such as Sweden or Denmark prove their excellence and they project their economy as strong and positively directed. Thus, when it comes to collective and liberal cultural metaphor linked to national growth, they are more productive than the other concepts such as the one Hofstede gives (Sagnak, 2017).

As per the given scenario, strong ethical leadership will be better alternative than developing code of ethics to improve cultural sensibility of employees (Pasricha, Singh & Verma, 2018). It is because the fact that ethical leadership is guided by the principles of the ethics that can be used at any point of time, regardless of the making of the codes for a particular purpose such as enhancing ethical values in employees about organisational culture. When a good and strong leader is projected who has ethical soundness by behaviour, it gives a wide variety of approaches that he or she can apply into practice.
