Let us start by understanding what the two terms birth control and abortion actually means. So, birth control is the use of contraceptives that prevents someone from getting pregnant even after being sexually involved with a person. But this is not all that a contraceptive does, some contraceptives also help from protecting oneself from Sexually Transmitted Infections, or STIs. Abortion, on the other hand, is the termination of pregnancy midway. Both of them, as mentioned by Hardin, Garrett, has their own set of biological as well as social drawbacks, with very few advantages, that we are going to discus in detail in the next two paragraphs.
Birth Control
Birth control, as mentioned by Gordon, Linda, is the use of contraceptives, as we have already discussed above. Although there are a lot of real life biological and social disadvantages that a contraceptive user face. We are going to have a detailed discussion on those disadvantages here.
The biological issues are as follows:
1. Bleeding between periods: When contraceptive pills are taken orally by women, their menstrual cycles get messed up and that leads to their bleeding between periods.
2. Brest tenderness: Breast tenderness, that happens before or during menstruation, also sometimes happens when there is an intake of contraceptives, orally.
