I need a simple WordPress website with he given tasks and content in the attached file. I have also uploaded my first theme project as a reference. Coding is required in PHP little bit of HTML and CSS for stying in visual studio.


INTRODUCTION A new startup for an online E-Learning site has contacted you and would like a responsive and user-friendly WordPress website. They are looking for a custom look and will require a unique theme that will apply just to them. Over the last couple of weeks, we have focused on WordPress hierarchy and different types of pages and post template files. In this assignment, you have been tasked with setting up a WordPress website from scratch (similar to the demos) and adding the required template files. This will include laying out the following pages responsively: the homepage, tips & resources, pricing, courses, single course, archives, category, 404 and search results. BUILD Your assignment has been broken down into small tasks. Complete these in order. You have been supplied with the written content to use, but some of the images will need to be sourced. As of right now, the site does not contain a header or footer. You will be laying out the provided pages, please pay attention to tasks and rubric. Your pages should be responsive to all screen size, as well you will need to determine the layout for tablet. The site should be fully styled to hand off to your client, however, the styling and design is up to you. TASKS Task 1: Page Template Files In this task, you are adding page templates to set up the homepage and any other additional pages. The homepage page and the two other additional pages should be responsively laid out with a mobile-first approach in mind. ● Add the homepage template. ○ Set up the homepage to the to run as a static page (non-blogging site) ● Add the template for all other pages. Your page templates should be broken down into bite-sized chunks of code. Meaning that you should have a partial or template-parts folder that pulls content into the main template page/file. Task 2: Posts Templates In this task, you are adding post templates to set up the main blog and single blog pages. Both of these pages should be responsive to all screen sizes with a mobile-first approach. Main Blog ○ The main blog page should be set to display all blog posts (hint: look in the settings panel in the dashboard) ○ Add all the blog posts. ■ Please be sure to add categories to each post. ○ Each post should be displayed with an image, heading that links to the full blog post, date, categories, and excerpt. Single. ○ Each single blog post should have the following: image, heading, author, categories, full content, and links to the previous and next published posts. Your single blog template should be broken down into bite-sized chunks of code. Meaning that you should have a content file for your single blog layout that gets pulled into your single blog template file. Task 3: Archive & Category Templates In this task, you are adding archive and category templates pages. Both of these pages should be responsive to all screen sizes with a mobile-first approach. ● Archive Template ○ Display a dynamic title showing what type of archive is being displayed. ○ Display a list of archived posts including their title, an image, and an excerpt. ● Category Template ○ When you click on a category, the category template should display all posts with that category. ○ Each post should have a clickable heading (links to post), author, date, an image and excerpt. Task 4: Search & 404 Templates In this task, you are adding search and 404 templates pages and both of these pages should be responsive to all screen sizes with a mobile-first approach. · Search Template ○ A template to display the search results is needed. ○ A search form could either use another template or the build in search form from WP. get_search_form(); · 404 Page: ○ Should have a working search form and other content needed to fill out a 404 page.
