The simple linear regression between X (average job satisfaction) and Y (job turnover rate) is run as follows:
The regression equation is given as follows:
Y = 155.50 – 2.422 * X
The unstandardized slope coefficient for X variable is -2.422 and the standard error value for slope coefficient is 1.248. The slope coefficient indicates that with the increase of 1 unit in independent variable X, the dependent variable Y is decreases by 2.422. The standard error is 1.248 indicate that on average the predicted value by slope coefficient is 1.248 far from the actual value.
The t-statistic value is -1.940 and the p-value is 0.065. The p-value is greater than 0.05. Hence, the null hypothesis is not rejected and concluded that there is no significant relationship between job satisfaction and job turnover.

The above plot indicates that the dependent variable is not normally distribution. The assumption of normality is violated.
