    The global warming crisis is quite alarming and its effect on the earth will lead to depletion of natural resources. This may lead to humanity unable to sustain itself in the future. As carbon dioxide is one of the major factors in the farthing of Global Warming. The initiative is to try and understand how one can reduce the carbon that is being emitted into the environment (Thompson, Purdy and Ventresca, 2018).This initiative can look into ways to make the company have processes that are carbon negative. These sustainable practices can lower the emission of Carbon on a grand scale and slow the pace of global warming.

COMMUNITY FUNDING APPLICATION: It is imperative to demonstrate a need, establish a specific problem or issue in a geographically or interest-based identifiable area. Here, it is important to produce evidence, ‘tell the story’ and demonstrate community support.
SOCIAL ENTERPRISE INITIATIVE: What is the social need not yet met? To what contextual, external environment change will your initiative respond to, if relevant? What is the social value crated that will drive ‘investors’ to invest in it? Here, it is important to produce evidence and ‘tell the story’ too.
    The current status of carbon negative practices is that it is integrated in most organisations. Organisations require energy for various functions and the energy used to power it is usually created by fossil fuels which emits carbon dioxide. This is why it is inherent to research carbon negative processes in order for industries to function and be able to create sustainable products (Zheng, and Suh 2019. This is a key initiative as it is important for the rate of depleting natural resources and the environment crisis that is currently being faced. This will make sure that there are natural resources for the future generations.
