Healthcare is one of the basic needs that a human being is required to live with and this healthcare system now becomes a profitable and fast growing business which has a direct connection with society and helps millions of people everyday . Big companies are investing and opening new wings regarding the health care unit . healthcare is developing over the world and after this pandemic the workload has become thrice which leads the manager and CEO s to think about the alternative system to manage the workflow and develop the procedure of treatment and they were also worried about the loss of balance in their employees life . so they came up with the “lean” system which will help various healthcare units in various countries to cope with the load of patients and this idea was actually invented by TOYOTA at the time of the second world war .

Lean healthcare mainly concentrate on the reducing of the cost and waiting time of the patient and focus about providing healthcare to millions of more people the interesting part in this types of strategy is that it lies into the traditional system only although some little changes and awareness can make this lean system work efficiently and the sympathetic and ethical view lead managers to work with this lean system(Radnor) . This system has some direct cost cutting and the research over this system has already proven that some smart steps will be the deciding factors over this process . those points are
Lesser waiting hours - the more patients have to wait the more the of treatment will delay and the lengthy treatment procedure are the cause shortage of bed in many hospitals and the best way to avoid it ,the staffs have to be very impromptu the system and tests and the doctors may upgrade themselves with the new age technologies medicinal knowledge . The felling up of thousands of unnecessary forms with the same information is really terrible and the fact is the data processing is also delayed by the work of them . If 10% of time can be used 80 beds will be vacant for new patients and it will be profitable on the margin of 30 million which can be invested by the authorities for new and advanced facilities(Kim).
The effective transportation- the building structure and codependent departments should be nearly located because without that design the transportation of the patient and the walking time for support and movement of heavy testing machines will be very inconvenient and the treatment process will take longer which may harm the patient's health also . lean healthcare suggested to do a caver and efficient building map for this and also make sure the nature and eco system should be unaffected by this.
Overproduction and over usage of inventory- the medical companies are very intent to overproduction which actually sucking up all the capital which potentially can be used for the actual development this overproduction and stocking up in piel actually is very disturbing practice for the economical balance and causes artificial crisis over the market(Arcidiacono). The reduction of over production which is a part of lean healthcare will be safer and balanced for the particular field and for the outer society also.
