beautiful story, as well as. · Damien Dellala 01:34Thank you, thanks for having me today and I guess we'll start with you got a nice introduce that i'm a father of a nine year old almost 10 Alaska. · so um so yeah you're right i've got a few things going on, primarily, you know full time dad then obviously you've got home schooling. · 02:07running well i'm the Managing Director of three restaurant businesses to you know customer facing restaurants and a production facility, where we produce. · 02:17All that dumplings like up to 15,000 a week during summer and which supplies and dumplings and chops to shimmy shimmy and then it will have other products coming through and at like a schedule kitchen function, so that sells products to the other two. · 02:35So you control inventory and then a last 12 months of started on my own analytics consulting business and i've got a couple of partners, there was sort of veterans in hospitality. · 02:48involved in like 40 or 50 projects and hospitality over the years, so i'm fortunate to have some really good mentors and. · 02:55Really experienced players who've been around for a while, you know how to to coach me and guide me as well. · 03:03But. · 03:04i'm also working on a start up as well, which is the all these things sort of come together so. · 03:12So every maybe i'll park that right so there's three things going on major things the restaurant it's been run very digitally and very analytically. · 03:22And then you've got a consulting business that does digital and analytics consulting to help other businesses and then year 11 three times. · 04:11yeah kept going back at it. · 04:15As like teenager and I ended up getting you 12 eventually he was really happy about and I didn't really have any know career plan or anything I just sort of followed my knowledge, you know Okay, I had a job you know small factory was packing books. · 04:32And then ended up this is when the Internet was starting in business, but was dial up and stuff and I ended up you know, in the electronic media. · 04:41area and that's just when you know all universities and research libraries were still getting CD Rom is to get all the information that we get now just log in and get it from Google. · 04:52But I just could see what was going on and I wrote down my goals about what I wanted to change, not knowing. · 04:58How or when. · 04:59But I decided, I want to be involved in Internet related company or Internet related business right down, I wanted to work for a large organization that I can learn new things and move around, and so, and also where. · 05:13discretionary effort or I can remember the words you know that we're back then, but like i'm that you could progress through and you could be recognized for for. · 05:21effort and. · 05:22yeah so there's a sort of three things I wrote down. · 05:25And then that it months later, I ended up getting a job in the contact Center at West national Australia bank it sort of began, I think I started a course like to learn, you know the fundamentals of excel and word processing, basically, and then I stopped that as well. · 05:53Because I was working and the first thing that they had started was um there was four teams all selling insurance. · 06:02With 14 leaders and then maybe 15 people 20 people in each team, and then a floor manager and everyone was writing down their sales on pieces of paper. · 06:12And then, then I can template so they were present and then at the end of the day, that would be given to the team later, who would then typing. · 06:20them into a spreadsheet and they would then there's four different spreadsheets and that would be emailed to the former manager who didn't type all them in to. · 06:28Another spreadsheet then
