The profits earned by these hotels have been hit really hard with the rising numbers of hotels in the region making it difficult for the hotels to survive in such situations. Moreover, the governments of different countries have imposed restrictions on travel and tourism, which has reduced the number of tourists considerably (Lopes, 2016). Increasing competition in the industry is not only making it difficult for the hotel industry of Eastern Australia to earn good profits but is also making it challenging for this hotel to retain its trained, experienced and knowledgeable human resources.
As the tourist activities or business meetings have now been distributed among a number of hotels in Eastern Australia, some of the big names in the industry are finding it difficult to make money to increase the profits being earned by the hotel. Owing to the narrowing profits of these hotels due to increasing competition, it is becoming difficult to maintain the legacy and to provide the employees with a satisfactory working environment (Elsey & Southward, 2018). The situation seems to worsen further as there is no ray of hope...
