Identify a notable chemist and write a report on the person and the work that they did that made/makes them notable. Here are some resources, but you don't have to use them:

Your report should:

  • be at least 500 words describing the person's career, personal life, and their research, going in detail about the part(s) you find most notable,

  • include a picture of the chemist (if you can find one. If you can't, please email me before handing it in),

  • include a drawing of a reaction or some sort of image that reflects the research they do,

  • include a statement as to why the person is notable to you (part of the 500 words),

  • include a list of references and cite the references within the document (you can use any format, as long as you are consistent, they are not part of the 500 word count), and

  • include the five most recent articles they published according to SciFinder (not part of the 500 words).
