identify one (1) health issue that is relevant to your patient.(Ischemic stroke) You will need to undertake a brief literature review about this issue

Suggested format for the literature review is below. More information will be given in-class.

The review must address the following:

·Introduction

The introduction should clearly establish the focus and purpose of the literature review. It should describe the clinical problem/issue being addressed and explain why it is problem; briefly describe the background of the problem and explain what is already known about the topic.

·Results

Synthesise trends/themes in the literature (don’t just describe individual studies) Analyse and interpret the literature.

·Discussion

Critically evaluate what you have found: mention the strengths and weaknesses of your sources. What do the results of the review mean for clinical practice or research or the profession?

·Conclusion

Summary of key results, identifying research gaps and future research trends.

References:The assessment requires the use of twelve (12) contemporary (less than 10 years old) academic references.

Introduction
Ischemic stroke is a type of stroke that occurs when a blood clot narrows or blocks the artery leading to the b
rain. The blood clot blocks the flow of oxygen to the brain and a minor stroke like feeling is experienced. However, it is not much serious yet requires immediate medical help as it is a sign of future occurrence of major stroke. The symptoms are sudden lack of balance in one side of the body, loss of speech, numbness and vision problem in one or both the eyes.
There is a difference between a stroke and an ischemic stroke, which must be known by each individual to stay aware. A quick response and awareness during such situation can save the life of a person. It is an issue, which needs to be addressed because several people are unaware about it and often term the symptoms being witnessed as weakness. The feeling of dizziness and fatigue is perceived as weakness and left untreated for a longer time. This adverse the situation and lead to a major stroke, which often creates life risk.
I will focus on the literature review to evaluate the issue deeply as it will help in creating awareness in the patients about this less explored health issue. The purpose of my study is to gather a concrete knowledge about ischemic stroke and spread awareness about it. The study will help me to identify and handle the situation effectively in a clinical setting. It will further help me in gathering a practical knowledge and apply my skills effectively through an evidence-based practice.

In the recent times, we have faced the COVID pandemic, which has increased the chance of the ischemic stroke among the people who has suffered from the infective virus. As evidenced by Qureshi et al. (2021), the COVID infected patients with the experience of ischemic stroke were at a high risk of developing kidney impairment. This reveals that the ischemic stroke is a result of highly persistent infection in the body.
The infection leads to kidney failure and the stroke provides a prior signal to act accordingly. The ischemic stroke may recover by itself as the immune cells responds to the condition. As supported by Xu, Lu, Shao, Zhang and Zhang (2020), the Glial cells helps in the recovery from the ischemic stroke through the immune response. Further study on it can help in creating new interventions of the condition. The ischemic stroke can be understood through the brain imaging, which shows cell death of the brain.
However, according to Goyal et al. (2020), the cell necrosis of the brain is a pattern seen in the ischemic stroke. This is also termed as pan-necrosis and occlusion of large blood vessel is seen. The management of the stroke requires a multidisciplinary approach as the underlying cause requires to be treated to stop its recurrence. As...
