At the top of a blank page write “In five years I see myself. . . .” Let go of the “how” and write down your highest career vision. What would you do if you had no excuses? 11. How are your skills and gifts being used?


12. What is your salary? Do you earn bonuses?


13. How are you advancing in your career?


14. Do you travel for work? If so, how often and where do you go?

16. In what major ways does your life in five years compare with your life today?


17. What are three obstacles that might keep you from reaching this vision?


18. What skills or training might you need to develop to reach this vision?


There is a saying you get what you are willing to settle for in life. You can get more of what you desire by clearly defining what you truly want. Do not settle too cheaply when it comes to your career goals and life goals.
