Introduction
    In an organization, it is important to build up a bond of togetherness among the employees and the employers. Disruption to that bond can lead to several problems and conflicts. Conflicts, in turn, can hurt the workplace environment of the organization. In a workplace scenario, a female employee is upset with a male co-employee, as the latter has repeatedly asked the former to go out with him on dates, despite the former refused at the first instance. In this case, the female employee arrives at the Human Resource Management department to discuss the issue with the HR Manager. In leadership, the aspect of conflict management is an important lesson. Conflict management is extremely essential to ward away a negative and hostile environment in the workplace. It also teaches resolution skills to the employees in an effective manner.
Plan of Conversation with the Female Employee
    In any kind of conversation that is conflict management-oriented, firstly it is important to listen to the perspective of the complainant. According to SolikuandSchraml (2018), it is important to understand the point of view from which, the employee is feeling threatened or upset. Listening without any kind of judgment will be the first aspect of the conversation with the female employee. According to Rahim and Katz (2019), as an HR manager, I must be honest with the employee. In this regard, I would also expect honesty from my employees. Through the help of my verbal communication and gestures, I would try to direct the female employee into telling what truly happened without hiding in the garb of falsity or even fear. Through my actions, I would try to make her feel more comfortable so that the female employee can share the issues she has experienced when working with her male co-employee or even try to understand in what ways the male co-worker is creating a hostile work environment for her.
