A business strategy aims to achieve organizational goals and stay ahead of competitors. It defines what are the requirements of business to succeed. Business strategy involves discovering of innovative products. The training also involves the ways; to improve the customer service. If business deliver good quality customer service, then the goodwill of company also increases (Ahmad, Kura, Bibi, Khalid & Rahman Jaaffar, 2019). They should be taught how to differentiate the products from the products of competitors by highlighting the features such as superior technology or pricing. They should also be taught to gain economies of scale by adopting latest method of technology.
The core values include respect, integrity, responsibility, self-improvement, honesty, unselfishness, loyalty, commitment, open mindedness and reliability. These values are the fundamental beliefs of the organization and help in differentiating between right and wrong. The values tell the ways; an organization works, the ways; it interacts with each other and the strategies, needed to be employed to fulfil the mission (Adam, 2020).
Ethical principles include transparency, fairness, honesty, non-discrimination and respect for human rights, attention to social justice, accountability and responsibility. All cultures, opinions and religion should be respected. Moreover, the stakeholders should be given all the necessary information as and when needed. Culture is also necessary as it defines the characteristics of a particular group and encompasses the social behavior and norms in the society (Chikere, Moradeyo & Adisa, 2020).
Human Resource Development and Its Alignment with Strategic Planning
Human resource management is concerned with the workforce of the organization. It aims to improve the skills, knowledge, ability and talent of the workforce. It helps in improving the performance of the employee, which helps in achieving organization goals. Training and career development contribute the most in the development of the workforce. Strategic planning involves planning for achieving organizational goals, mission and vision by establishing a direction (Koch, Gerber & De Klerk, 2018).
