Identifying the Recruitment needs for “Pop Up Cafe” Mondo’s
After going through the business details of the new opening and startup business of Mondo’s pop-up cafe it can be considered that the company needs serious employees who can run the business exclusively and can operate smoothly in the peak hours like 11 am to 2 pm. There is a need for one experienced barista to deliver the best in class coffee for their customers along with a volunteer kitchen hand who will make sure about all the supplies in the kitchen to be handy in order to ensure quick delivery of orders. One full-time waitperson is also needed as during the rush hours there is a serious problem regarding the delivery of orders to the table (Nagendrababu & Girisha, 2018).
Consultation about staffing with colleagues
The duty of a recruitment manager is to create a job advertisement after clearly knowing the facts that are hindering the business integrity in the organizational workplace. It can be said that consulting with colleagues who are working for years will help to make a better intuition about the new employment needs (Mwendwa et al. 2017). It has been depicted from the consultation with the colleagues that Mondo’s is experiencing a rush in during a particular time of the day that is 11 am to 2 pm. An immediate urgency is there to employ a permanent full-time waitperson to manage the situation. An experienced Barista will also help to maintain the integrity of the cafe by delivering the best coffee experience to the customers.
Recruitment strategy development
As a recruitment manager, it can be said that the recruitment strategy development for the pop-up cafe Mondo’s are based on certain micro strategies that include
1. Make a good overview of the existing organizational structure and business strategies.
2. External stakeholder’s feedback is taken into good consideration while making the current recruitment strategies.
3. Internal policies and customized internal culture and practices of the company are also taken into consideration.
4. The criteria to attract the eligible candidates are also aligned with the job recruitment procedure to ensure clarity and integrity in the process.
