Students are required to develop and implement a management report for their event concept from start to finish. Management Report consisting of Project scope document, Stakeholder management Plan, Marketing, Logistics, Work breakdown structure, Project budgeting andRisk management plan.

Management Report: 3000 words excluding Executive Summary, appendices and references. Implementation of an Event Project.


Task Requirements


Students should use the concept design from assessment #1 and finish of their report forImplementation of an Event Project.


The report must include the following knowledge areas:

  3. Stakeholder management plan

  6. Project budget

  7. Work breakdown structure

Interpret and discuss the data collected in the above documents.


The report will discuss the application, appropriateness and reference theProject Management Body of Knowledge(PMBOK) -


Successful completion of this task will require students to demonstrate the following:




  • Application of specific PMBOK area to the event

  • Interpret collected data to make an informed decision - The data collected are the information provided in the templates which must be discussed in the body of the report

  • Apply technical and theoretical knowledge to develop the plan




The report should include the following:




  1. A Title Page with name and student number, the subject code and title, the name of the lecturer/tutor, and the title of the assessment;

  2. An Executive Summary which includes the main findings and recommendations of the report;

  3. A Table of Contents with section numbers, section titles/headings (see below for guidance) and page numbers;

  4. An Introduction that provides an overview of the theme of the report and its contents;

  5. The Main Body of the report in sections(please refer to criteria section above)

  6. A Conclusion, which summarizes the main findings of the report and identifies any implications or recommendations arising from the discussion;

  7. A Reference List and in-text referencing in APA Referencing Style with a minimum of fourteen (14), i.e. academic journal articles, texts (e.g. the prescribed texts), government sources and relevant media sources (e.g. newspaper articles, trade publications), relevant websites to support your discussions.

  8. Appendices (action plans, checklists, the stakeholder management plan, event marketing poster/pamphlets, Work breakdown structure, Event projected Gantt chart, projected budgets, Logistics checklist, tables/charts, risk management plan, etc.)

The FIFA World Cup 2022, which was awarded to Qatar in December 2010, will be the first FIFA World Cup to be hosted in the Middle East. The governing members of fifa focus on the improvement of the entire event for obtaining more success compared to the previous year. Moreover, FIFA event manager needs to understand the important factors that are relevant to the ev
ent so that the best performance can be delivered to their audience. Being in sync and harmony are very crucial to obtain a satisfactory experience level.
Accordingly, a report has been prepared by the FIFA administration, in cooperation with Qatar, to consider the feasibility of increasing the number of teams participating in the final competition of the FIFA World Cup Qatar from 32 to 48. Based on the analysis contained in this report, and in particular the key findings, the FIFA administration has concluded that the expansion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar from 32 to 48 teams would be feasible, provided the requirements mentioned in the report are met.

FIFA WORLD CUP is one of the largest events in the world. The competition between the best national teams in the world connects billions of people from all continents, cultures, ethnicities and creeds. Fifa world cup is a quadrennial tournament of 32 national teams that is organised by the federation Internationale de football association or fifa. It determines the sports world champion. It is likely the most popular sporting event in the world, drawing billions of television viewers every tournament. The world cup happens every four years in order to have enough time for the qualification tournaments and playoffs among national teams to take place. The 2022 fifa world cup is scheduled to be the 22nd edition of the fifa world cup, the quadrennial international men’s association football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of fifa. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first world cup ever to be held in the Arab world and the first in a Muslim-majority country. This report intends to plan the implementation of the event with the help of project management.

PMBOK is the guide or better an instructional book including all the guidelines, fundamental standards as well as terminology that is required by industry professional for the management of projects. Event Details: The purpose of the FIFA World Cup Qatar2022 is to maximise the sustainability of the preparation, staging, and post-tournament activities of the FIFA World Cup 2022 by fulfilling our obligations, managing risks and leveraging opportunities related to people’s rights and wellbeing, economic development and environmental protection.
1. Key Event Marketing Goals
• Attract more than 3.572 billion viewers to the event from all over the world. The global in home television watching at least one minute of coverage totalled 3.262 billion, while a further estimated 309.7 million people watched non coverage in home but caught the action on digital platforms, in public viewing areas or in bars and restaurants, boosting the total audience by 9.5 per cent in year 2018.
o Achieve at least 50% return visitation (i.e. visitors from previous 3 events).
