Introduction
Referring clients to a natural support/community resource has both benefits and drawbacks, as this article will describe. In addition, shared norms and rules that influence and are influenced by the use of social media tools will be analysed. It will also be examined how risk factors play a role in your decision-making when it comes to referring people to community resources.
1. Health Professional and Use of Social Media 
Social media is used by physicians to exchange information, discuss policy and practice concerns, encourage health habits, communicate with the public and educate and interact with patients. HCPs utilize them to possibly enhance health outcomes, raise personal knowledge of news and breakthroughs, inspire patients and give community health information.
According to a survey, more than 90% of physicians use social media for personal purposes, while just 65% use it for professional purposes (Cheng et al., 2020). Doctors are becoming more interested in connecting with patients online. To improve connection with patients, some doctors are adopting social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. Patients' access to health care information and other educational materials can also be improved through social media.
Supplemental electronic communication for patients with chronic conditions has been demonstrated in studies to emphasize physicians' advice and enhance adherence. Physicians are utilizing social media to create messages that are more likely to resonate with patients and to be acted upon (Machado et al., 2020).
