In a short document (approximately 1000 words), set out at least three connected arguments supporting a position on a current event or topic of your choice, related in some way to professional communication, to be used as a 'cheat sheet' for a speaker in a public apearance (radio / television interview, podcast, or roundtable discussion, for example). Consider and communicate the key points of your position on your chosen topic.




Use the elements oflogosto build the basic structure of an argument. Use bullet points to state your ideas. Use statistics and facts to support your position. Overall, convey a sense of your position, to lay the foundation for your approach to Assignment 3.














YOUR TPM SHOULD:







  • Use an enthymeme to draw the audience into the argument.



  • Use simple, powerful, pointed, engaging, and concrete language



  • Use a list of facts, examples, or stories, especially in the form of numbers or comparisons. No adjectives, no abstractions.
