In Module 2 you developed a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Now you will move your WBS into Microsoft Project (MS Project).


In order to efficiently track project tasks, schedule, and progress, businesses often use project management software. While MS Project is just one of many, it is used by organizations across many industries. MS Project offers features including, but not limited to: Planning and Scheduling, Communication and Collaboration, Resource Management, and Reporting.


In addition to Task Name and WBS Code, you will need to include the following for each task:



a. Start Date and End Date
b. Assigned Resource(s) - Remember resources are not limited to people
c. Cost
d. Predecessors
