Self - analysis is extremely important for an individual as it helps in evaluating and understanding of one's strengths, weaknesses, values, ethics, priorities and everything. I personally believe that self - analysis helps in creating the own essentials and desirables and it is very much important to know self before knowing the outer world. There is a famous saying that, “Introspection is always a result of adversities", so I personally believe that each and everyone should analyze self at first before stating any action. In my professional career, several times I faced many problems regarding work pressures, learning of new techniques, working in groups. In professional life, we all have to work in groups with colleagues and leaders of different mentalities, similarly in my personal workplaces I dealt with many issues that were very much serious. Not only in professional life, in my personal also had I come through lots of struggles. Today whatever I am is the result of doing those struggles successfully. Self-analysis helped me to overcome those situations very well. Whenever I faced any hard times I first found out what are my capabilities to overcome the situation, what I want really are my priorities and those are the things, I focused in my life.
Reflective practices on the other hand is the modern term used for none other than the very old self - improvement and it is generally a method of determining of own thoughts and actions that might help in the self development and learning process. In my personal as well as professional life I have always try to endeavor such a way so that I do not commit the mistakes I did before. Self-analysis taught me to identify the strengths and weaknesses present in me and through the reflective practices, I always tried to change my faults, my drawbacks, withstanding capabilities whenever any bad situations arise. Through these reflective practices, I improved a lot in my workplace also, and it really works in increasing the positive capabilities.
