Project Management Methodology was defined in 1960s as a method of organizing businesses into structured entities called projects that allowed organizations to work effectively. The term was modified over the years with addition of new functions and elements. Today it is defined as a set of principles that can be used for managing a project from the beginning till end. More systematically, it is defined as a combination of the locally connected methods, processes and practices for determining best ways to plan, develop, deliver, and control the project.
