Choosing an Industry for a Career
The application of the emotional and the core figure of justice have been idealised for choosing a field in the hospitality industry, especially to be recruited in the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Melbourne. With the emotional value, I would be able to deal with the tourists. The core virtue of justice will help in explaining the diversity and culture of the hotel.
Applying Two Tenets of Conscious Capitalism for My Industry
As already mentioned, the two tenets of the conscious capitalism had been a higher purpose and in synchronisation with the stakeholder's orientation. Higher Purpose had been used for the explanation of the value and the profit of the stakeholders of the Doubletree Hotel in Melbourne. Higher Purpose has also been used for the evading the discrimination, which has been previously involved in this Hotel. It aimed to promote a cooperation between the stakeholders so that Doubletree can maintain the diversity in their organisational premises (Fremeaux & Michelson, 2017). Higher Purpose has been even targeted for the management wellbeing of the Doubletree.
Another tenet, stakeholder orientation has been impactful for the Doubletree hotel. With the implication of the stakeholder’s direction, the business of the Doubletree can create a value for the stakeholders. There has been the use of the workforce and workforce in the Doubletree so that their services for the customers and stakeholders can excel (Friedman, Friedman & Adel, 2017). It has been equally used for the eradication of the conflicts and balancing the trade-offs, which have been persistent in the Doubletree hotel. Stakeholder tenet has been used for the creation of harmony among the consumers who have been associated with this industry.
