Assessing the doctor based on certain criteria and fix appointments.
Firstly, check whether the doctor accepts the patients’ insurance or not and what is the rating of the doctor as per National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
Secondly, whether the doctor is qualified and experienced to treat specified ailment of the patient.
Thirdly, whether the doctor accepts new patients or treats his existing patients only.
Lastly, Is the physician accessible by proximity. This refers to choosing a doctor based on the remoteness, availability and transportation convenience.

Why should patients visit Medicare Physicians?
If your physician do not accept Medicare payment which is called ‘assignment’, then the patient has to pay the doctor hard cash from his pocket.
Also, as per the CMS – Center for Medicare and Medicine Services the majority of doctors will accept Medicare if they have signed an agreement with Medicare.
This means the will follow as per the Medicare protocols for payment of patient’s bills and submit claims to Medicare.
The doctor who is not registered with Medicare will treat patients at a lower cost or will keep the number of patients visits low.

It attracts senior citizens who needs primary or special care.
It a way to retain existing customers when they turn 65 years and above.
It provides Medicare advantage by providing them correct option for medical treatment without losing their money.
Medical Advantage – Part C coverage which helps the patients to avoid choosing wrong plan; Part A – Hospital Insurance and Part B – Medical Insurance but with additional benefits which the Medicare facilities won’t cover.
