Instructions

In Week 2, you selected three standardized tests that have relevancy to your specialization or a related profession and focused on the testing purpose, population, content or constructs assessed, and test user training. In Week 5, you focused on analyzing the evidence for the technical quality of your three selected tests.

In Chapters 7 and 8 of yourPsychological Testing and Assessmenttext, you have been learning about test utility, test development, item analysis, and test use in a variety of settings and test-takers. In this assignment, you will apply those concepts to your selected tests when evaluating their materials, scoring, and technology.

For this assignment, locate a minimum of six resources (a minimum of two sources for each test) pertaining to the materials, scoring, and technology of the three tests. You will not be required or need to have a copy of your tests to complete this assignment. You may use many different types of references and sources to obtain this information about your tests. These references may include journal articles, literature reviews, MMY reviews, and test publisher websites. In almost all cases, you will be able to locate some level of information on these elements.

For some newer test editions, literature may be scarce. Refer back to theLists of Tests by Type [DOCX]document to see which tests are approved for supplementation with articles that address earlier editions of the tests. If the "Combined Review Allowed" column is marked "Yes," you can supplement your review with articles addressing the designated prior version of the test.

Note: In future courses, you may use the Capella library's Interlibrary Loan service to obtain articles outside of the collection, but you should not have to use the service for this course. In the event that you cannot find articles covering a newer test edition, please refer to theList of Tests by Type [DOCX]. Note which tests have been designated as acceptable for searching prior test editions.

If you are struggling with locating sufficient information about a particular test in regard to an element in this assignment, then you will need to cite the references or reviews involved in your search and identify this element asproblematicfor your selected test, as it lacks sufficient documentation in the literature for this element.

Introduction
I have been considering several exams and evaluations that will be used in my future vocation as a mental health practitioner. I have come to appreciate exactly how much effort is required. Researching autism, neuropsychological, and depression assessments has prepared me for a career as an advocate for mental or behavioural health in economically disadvantaged neighbourhoods. According to WPS Publish, the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills- Revised (ABLLS-R) (autism test) was created to give the tools needed to diagnose, assess, and monitor children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental difficulties (Usry,2015). Depression and dysthymia in children and adolescents may be evaluated with the use of the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI and CDI2) (Bajaj,2020). It's a quick self-test that looks for signs of depression in children and teens on many levels (cognitive, emotional, and social) (Cumba-Avilés,2020). The Luria - Nebraska neuropsychological battery (LNNB) test is a standardised battery of neuropsychological evaluations developed to provide practical guidance in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of brain injury and dysfunction. It's a battery of fourteen measures designed to pick up on cognitive impairments (Corbo et al,2022). Understanding, wisdom, and intelligence are all tested. When making decisions on assessments in the mental health area, a comprehensive evaluation is required. Even though mental health professionals extensively use tests, I have discovered that several of them have serious issues with validity and reliability.
An evaluation of test costs, administration times, and test materials
The Assessment of Basic Language Learning and Skills Revised (ABLLS-R) is divided into the Scoring Instructions and IEP Development Guide, and the Assessment Protocol. The Protocol provides precise, historical information on the children's present talents and the situations in which the youngster is able to make use of these abilities (Stumper et al,2019). Additionally, it identifies flaws in motivation, attention, and other areas that prevent people from learning new skills. To list a few categories, there are more than 100 Common Objects. It also has the Language Builder, the Reinforcer Kit, Sets of 8 Basic Flashcards, 11 Sets of Cognitive Flashcards, simply counting Bears, and Wooden Beads.
The protocol and scoring equipment is available through WPS Publish for $70. This evaluation may take between three and fourteen hours to provide and is often spread across multiple sessions. Increasing the early detection rates in low-income households is one of my key goals as a mental health practitioner (Usry,2015). The examination will lead to earlier identification rates or potential ruling outs of theoretical mental health concerns, even though it takes a little while. One of the few solid foundations in the discipline of applied behaviour analysis, a kind of therapy used to treat autism, is this evaluation. Although it could take some time for the test to provide findings, it will be possible in the future (Foran et al, 2015).
About 700 discrete activities are included in each of the two forms I and II of the Luria-Nebraska exam. Based on earlier research by Alexander Luria that stresses a qualitative rather than a quantitative approach, Charles Golden developed the exam in 1981. The Luria-Nebraska Neuropsychological Battery for Children (LNNB-C) may be used with children ages eight to twelve, while the original adult version is intended for individuals aged fifteen and beyond; both tests need two to three hours to administer (Corbo et...
