Writing reflectively entails critically examining an experience, how it has changed me, and reporting what I intend to do with my new knowledge. Most importantly, writing something on paper generally prompts me to reflect on an experience, and allows me to think more deeply. Students that keep a journal on a regular basis notice increases in both writing skills and also the ability to think innovatively and confidently (Charlotte, 2017). I realized that reflective writing is a technique for examining assumptions and it takes time to practice. Keeping a reflective journal assists me in reaching a greater understanding. It's a way of improving my learning and, more significantly, my self-awareness. By documenting my growing thinking processes as I advance through the course and in my daily life, reflective journal writing allows me to reflect on new understandings I've gained, to enrich my learning experience, and to reach new findings. Your writing is clear and precise, and you have a very good understanding of how developing skills in keeping a reflective journal will assist you to learn. You reflection is a bit short and because you haven’t attended class does not connect with studying interpersonal communication. (5marks) Reflection 02 The system of exchanging opinions and feelings with others, both orally and nonverbally, is understood as interpersonal communication. In both my private and professional relationships, it encourages me to communicate and understand others. when people realize the communication and relationship factors which influence their strengths, People can recognise when relationships can be influenced and increase efficiencies. people like to work around people they like or associate with personalities who brighten their lives, if I have great interpersonal skills it will always help me( Evan,2021). In my career and personal life, I realized that developing interpersonal skills in communicating and interacting with groups and individuals was essential. Based on my personal experience and the knowledge I have gained from the class, I have learned that individuals or groups with excellent interpersonal skills are more likely to form positive relationships and collaborate effectively. I know some people have such skills by birth However, anyone can develop their skills with learning. I was able to gain a better understanding of the interpersonal skills that I needed to further improve. I found it was difficult to write a reflection about my self than I expected. But it also helped me to identify the areas where I need to focus more. Reference Evan .T ,2021, Interpersonal Skills, Viewed 12 April 2022 https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/interpersonal-skills.asp Feedback - thank you for your reflection. Unfortunately, you have not written a personal reflection at all. The question was not asking you to write about interpersonal communication skills it was asking you to write about yourself, your self-concept, self-identity, self-awareness, The only thing I learned about you from reading your reflection was that you found it difficult to write about yourself. You really need to attend the classes especially since assessment 3 is a group work project. Your reflection is yet to show an understanding of integrating learning with personal experience and applying theoretical knowledge (1mark) Reflection 03 Sri Lankan culture has been influenced by a range of forces, Its ancient history and Buddhist tradition have largely affected it. Most of the people in my country are Buddhists, others are Hindus, some are Muslims and some are Christians. We all live happily and respectfully to each other. There are Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, mosques and Christian churches all over the country. There are three official languages in Sri Lanka. those Languages are Sinhala, Tamil and English. Generally the English language will be sufficient for communication with each other. As a citizen of a multicultural country, I realized the importance of respecting other cultures. I have known since childhood that it is my duty to respect the culture of myself and others and keep them safe. As I write this reflection, it is difficult for me to reflect only on my country of birth, Sri Lanka. Because I finished my schooling in Sri Lanka and moved to China for further studies. Every day in China I had to interact with foreign students from different countries, Chinese lecturers, foreign lecturers and students from different cities in China. Working with different types of people was a bit uncomfortable at first but then I realized the differences in different cultures and how to adapt to those cultures slowly. It is my belief that my previous experience of how to adapt to the culture of another Asian country has greatly aided the process of acculturation to Australian culture. One of the communication styles I've seen in Asian cultures is that it is disrespectful to call an elder person by her/his name. But in Australia I have the ability to call older people by their own name. It was a hard task for me at first but now I'm getting used to it. Treating everyone equally is an important part of Australian culture. It helped me to express my thoughts and ideas with confidence and to improve my communication skills. Feedback- Thank you for your reflection, You certainly have vast experience with adapting to other cultures. However, you have written more of a summary than a personal reflection and failed to illustrate important aspects such as `I realized the differences in different cultures and how to adapt to those cultures slowly. This could have been illustrated with examples and how you felt about the process. Treating everyone equally is an important part of Australian culture.it helped me to express my thoughts and ideas with confidence and to improve my communication skills.this is a good example, but you have not elaborated how this helped you to express your thoughts and ideas with confidence - what value or believe or way of thinking changed for you and how did you feel about this, and how this change helped to developed your communication skills. You have just said that

Initially when I started with the course I was unaware about the reflective exercise we as
a student were put to. I remember while attempting first reflective task I was not able to relate the learning and practice well. Once I received the feedback from the professor it made me think about its importance and I searched few examples online. While gong through the structure I discovered how people actually benefitted out of it. I worked on it and realised that it had started helping me to get aware about myself, my strengths and the areas where I need to focus more. To begin with I need to attend classes regularly and connect with the questions then only I will be able to reflect on the learning part. I tried maintain reflective journal and started noting the learning and the traits I want to see in myself as a change measure. I realised it has helped me by improving the decision-making capacities as I am trying to be distant with my impulsive behaviour and critically analyse the information comes before me. I felt this is going to help me a lot while developing myself professionally (Hägg, 2021).
The second exercise highlighted my communication skills, which I used to be very confident about being experienced to multi-cultural environment. It helped me to introspect myself and I realised that I still need to learn how to interact with people in professional setup. Be it education or workplace it is essential to understand the prevailing culture, explore the communication channels and accept the most trusted or popular mode. I realised when the group projects were allocated it was difficult to get work done at times (Manevska et.al, 2018). Each member has their own understanding of things, they have their own strengths and fears and with communication only it can be known and solved. While communicating at times I used to miss few information, which were really crucial to share due to consciousness of being a foreign student in the class. I felt hesitant in discussing...
