Q1 Despite favorable workplace conditions some teachers are not satisfied. How you have dealt with such circumstances?
Principal:
Usually the conflict with teachers is due to differences in perceptions, the conflict of interest in planning their lectures and conflict of values consisting of ideologies over issues such as social issues. These differences are dealt with case study methods by putting teachers into groups and asked them to work on the most apt solution giving reasons for the same. This also involves counter argument with other alternatives, which were practiced earlier and found to be successful in resolving the conflict. This has helped in challenging their traditional thinking and made them think with fresh perspective. In addition, the communication needs to be clear and transparent so that no ambiguity disturbs the discipline.
Q2 How you have managed the staff and the conflict resolution so efficiently?

The staff is the major support function, which cannot be ignored. The workplace environment is equally important for them to grow and help the institution to deliver their services efficiently. They are the people who help us to detect problems what we teachers and principals sometimes lack to notice.
