e aim of reporting their finding and suggesting any improvements. The COSO framework 2013 seeks to supply a recognised framework for drafting and appraising the efficiency of internal control system. It emphasizes the role of the board—and, by delegation or regulation, the role of the audit committee—in overseeing internal control, which remains an essential aspect of effective governance . External audit provides an autonomous evaluation of a company’s FS as per to legislative requirements, and provides the audit committee with valuable, objective insight into aspects of the entity’s governance and internal controls including its risk management. Every country has prescribed certain basic minimum set of Ethics principles for professional members including Australia (under APES 110). The code of ethics provide a framework for the subscribers to ascribe to for shortlisting, evaluating and tackling threats to comply with the principles. These code requires its members to strictly abide with the enshrined fundamental principles of ethics come what may. Applying these principles mandate exercising professional judgement , staying alerts to emerging situation or opportunities These code of ethics clearly set out fundamental principles of ethics for members such as integrity, objectivity, professional competence and due care, confidentiality and professional behaviour. These 5 principles have been dealt with in detail below:
