The content of the group oral presentation is based on the topic given to the group, and must be from a topic selected from topics 5 to 9 studied in this course. The presentation should be 15 minutes in length followed by time for answering audience’s questions. It is to be given as part of the tutorial of the week due (refer to the assessment table). Group size should be 3 or 4. Assessment criteria include quality of presentation preparation, presentation skills demonstrated and evidence of effective group collaboration.Timelines and Expectations Percentage Value of Task: 15% Due: 11:55 PM Friday 28th September 2018 (Week 11) Minimum time expectation: 20 hoursLearning Outcomes Assessed The following course learning outcomes are assessed by completing this assessment:• K4. Develop an understanding of the need for organisational change, the key influence of human behaviour and its influence on organisational culture. • S1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the cognitive and practical approaches required to manage IT professionals in collaborative, global work environments. • S2. Utilise professional presentation and communication approaches in a range of IT workplace • settings. • V1. Appreciate the changing business and technological paradigm in which IT professionals operate. • V2. Appreciate the global nature of the IT industry. • A1. Construct written and verbal arguments in a variety of formats on the evolving nature of ethical norms relating to new technologies.Assessment Details Each group oral presentation shall be based on one of the five topics stated below. As the maximum number of students which can form a group is 4, classes larger than 20 students may need to allow groups to work on sub-topics or allow more than one group to work on the same topic. Lecturers are expected to be stricter on plagiarism on groups working on the same topic. The Lecturer leads students to form the groups and assigns topics to groups on a first-come, first-served basis.
