INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES AND RELATED ISSUES
Abstract
This report has been written to evaluate the strategies being adopted by most of the business organisations to maintain good interpersonal communication among the employees leading to strong and long-term interpersonal relationships. To evaluate these strategies an interview was conducted with one of the
employees of a well known MNC Apple Inc. The findings indicate that intercultural communication, negotiation and conflict resolution are the primary aspects of solving the issues in an organisation that are associated with interpersonal communication. The company needs to improve negotiations among the people. Rather than focusing on persuasion, the focus must be shifted on mutual consent. The company should help the employees develop self-control through several activities and training sessions.
