The purpose of Assessment 2 is to provide the opportunity for students to reflect upon and examine their placement environment and the employability skills they expect to develop and how employability skills are utilised within their placement. This will be assessed via Journal 2 (Application). You are settling into your placement and beginning to contribute more to the organisation. This represents a significant learning experience worthy of reflection. Refer to the framework, instructions and prompt questions below to help guide your Journal Entry: Introduction - 200 words. With your increasing awareness of your role, explain and expand upon your placement role, the duties and requirements and how your role contributes to the vision / mission of the broader organisation. Identify and Reflect - 400 words. Identify two employability skills that are required in your role (these could be the same or different skills identified in Journal Entry 1). Introduction
Internship is an opportunity for an individual to comprehend the business environment better and grasp skills which will be crucial for getting employment. I am focusing to become a successful Service Delivery Executive in an organization that can utilize my passion to deliver value for the business and in the process helps me horn people management skills (Chattopadhyay, C. and Chakravarti, D., 2018). I have performed my internship in the Australian Post working as the Delivery Driver. I strongly believe that managing the delivery of services as well as handling the operation plays a significant role in enhancing engagement with the customers thereby driving better results for the business. In order to become a successful delivery driver, I have also invested my time in learning new technologies that helped me performed my responsibilities to best of my capabilities (Cast, C., 2018). I also understood how to make a corporate roaster to track number of travels and strategies the purpose of visit. As number of consignments are reduced especially because of the pandemic, I have also involved myself for cleaning and keeping the vehicle clean during my work shift.
