We know the fact that business organizations are facing different challenges and problems. For managing the problems and issues the organizations have to give importance to effective marketing plans and prom
otions. Promotional activities of the companies help for improving the growth level and it also helps for increasing the customer base. Most of the international business organizations and investors are giving more importance to promotional tools and methods. As per the report of Business Insider (2018) companies consider promotional programs as an effective tool for managing the competition. While devising the promotional plan or activities we have to consider the influence of internal and external factors. In this research paper, we are developing a promotional plan for the company Sendle, and we are also analysing the various aspects related to the marketing plan in a detailed way.
Summary of Marketing Situation
1. Business Profile
According to the words of Father of Innovation Schumpeter (1940), the entrepreneurs use existing knowledge and resource for developing new idea and business. While analysing the case of Sendle we can understand that the founders of the successfully utilized the existing resources and knowledge for introducing new services for the customers. Australian based company Sendle Started in the year of 2015, and the company is providing services to different parts of the country. The headquarters of the company is situated in Sydney Australia. James Bradfield Moody, Sean Geoghegan and Craig Davis are the founders of the company and James Bradfield Moody is the current CEO of the company. According to the words of James Moody (2016), the company wants to focus on sustainable practices and policies (Moody et al 2016). As per the report of Business Insider (2018), Sendle can be called the first postal company in Australia that provides carbon neutrality delivery. The CEO is the key force that helped the company to manage the competition, the James Moody was famous for socially conscious engineering, in the year of 2001 he received the award for best young Queenslander. While analysing the opportunity theory related to entre we can understand that the founders of the company Sendle effectively used the opportunity to gain income and growth level.
The company belongs to the logistics industry and the company is mainly providing parcel and package delivery services. More than 150 employees are working in the company and most of the employees are highly satisfied with the services provided by the company (Carbone et al 2017). The main idea behind the origin of Sendle is to simplify the logistics services and the company also focused on providing cost-effective parcel and package services to the customers. In the year of 2016 the company received the award for one of best innovative companies in the world and in the same year the founders announced that the company covered 100 million kilometres and they are planning to expand the services to other countries. The mission of the company is to deliver quality services by making parcel service as a simple process. In the year 2017, the company entered into a strategic alliance with the DHL for providing better services to the customers.
